• This mattress is used for the maintenance of skin health; it aids in the healing of stage I-II skin ulcers redness or superficial skin wounds. 
  
• This mattress features a high-density polyurethane foam base, 5 lb. memory foam core and an incorporated foam perimeter border for help with transfers and ADLs. 
  
• This option offers a 1” gel insert to target protection to the coccyx area with the reduction of peak pressure points. 
  
• This helps to reduce skin tension and provides protection from shear when beds are articulated or elevated. It also protects the heel area with a .75” gel insert for pressure relief, reduction of friction and shear and healing of stage I and II pressure ulcers.
